Hopefully we won’t have such a heavy snowfall that would make it necessary to consider closing our school. However, it is important for you to know the procedure should school be affected in any way.
 We will always strive to keep school open, but in making a decision we must consider the safety of the children, the condition of the site and
 the safety of staff travelling to school.

In the event of very bad weather
 making it necessary to close, we will post a message on our website
 and send a Parentmail message to advise you. You should ensure that you have registered at
https://member.everbridge.net/index/89280773672548 in order to receive a message about any school closures.

Our school closure will also be announced on the following radio stations –

BBC Three Counties Radio 103.8 FM and Radio Verulam 92.6.

If we have a large amount of snow, we would be very grateful for any volunteers to help in clearing the paths and making the site safe.
